“I chose the medical profession to make a difference in peoples lives. I take pride in the fact that people trust us with their most valuable possession- their health. I live for every opportunity to make them feel better.” – Dr. Plaster.

Dr. Plaster is not just content with being a physician. Her professional goals revolve around revolutionizing Family Practice Medicine and changing the way people feel about their overall experience with medical professionals.

Dr. Plaster attended Butler University, where she completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She then obtained her Master’s Degree in Counseling while minoring in Anatomy at Wright State University. Ross University is where she completed her Medical Degree with the highest honors. She completed a three year Family Practice residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she served as chief resident, to then become licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia.

Prior to becoming licensed in Family Medicine, Dr. Plaster worked as a Professor of Anatomy within medical and nursing schools. With her education and training in counseling, Dr. Plaster worked as a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Counselor, as well as a Hospice Counselor. It was her work as a Professor of Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology at massage therapy schools that piqued her interest in Complementary Medicine. She learned the benefits of massage, acupuncture, Chiropractic Medicine, and Complementary Medical techniques and set a goal of having a practice where her patients would have a choice in their health care.

Dr. Plaster has served her country for 8 years as a Captain in the United States Army Reserves. She is the Chair of the Department of Medicine at Clearview Regional Medical Center and on staff at many local hospitals. She is an Associate Professor at UGA/GRU Medical School and proud to participate in the training of our next generation of doctors.

“The doctors are always putting the patients first in their care. They keep on top of health concerns related to their patients. The other staff are professional and very helpful in answering questions and assisting patients in seeing doctors or PAs. They are a great group of medical professionals.”
