What are lip fillers?

Lip fillers are fluid injected into the lips. Generally, lip fillers use hyaluronic acid to increase the size and alter the shape of the lips. The visible effect of most fillers diminishes over time as the body absorbs the solution. Because they are made of natural compounds, they are safe to use and can be updated as needed.

Who can use lip fillers?

Lip fillers can be beneficial for anyone that is unhappy with the current appearance of their lips. If you have always wished for greater symmetry, a more pronounced cupid’s bow, or a fuller pout, lip fillers can help you achieve the look you desire.

Be sure to discuss any allergies you may have with your medical provider, particularly if you have ever had an adverse reaction to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine, or adrenaline. If you have Oral herpes, please discuss premedication with your medical provider prior to booking an appointment. We recommend preventative medication (Valacyclovir, Acyclovir) the day of the procedure and three days post procedures. You will also need to inform your provider that you have a history of oral herpes prior to receiving lip filler.
